modern elegance in the city….
Tessa and Todd are such a phenomenal couple. The way these two look at each other, you can just feel the love and joy they share for one another. They also share a mutual obsession over their dog Flynn, so obviously I love that. 🙂
When I initially met Tessa she shared with me their vision of having a very inclusive wedding day. They wanted to bring together everything that they adored in a way that was cohesive, fun, but still romantic. They wanted to share the best parts of their lives, their city, and their love with everyone; and they pulled it off beautifully.
Family members and friends were treated to a beautiful Spring day around the lakes when the two were married at Lake of the Isle Luthern Church. Guests took in the gorgeous cityscape views before entering the quaint little chapel where Todd and Tessa promised forever to each other. Afterwards the celebrations continued at the Minneapolis Event Center, where their wedding guests were treated to an unseasonably warm evening while sipping on cocktails along the Mississippi River. The entire evening was filled with celebrations that included endless stories, tons of laughter, and lots of Todd’s fantastic dance moves. 🙂
Sending these two tons of love as they celebrate their new life together as husband and wife!
HUGE thank you to the INCREDIBLE team of vendors that pulled this day off!

If you can’t tell by these photos, Maddie and Ryan’s wedding day was truly the best day ever.
She comes from a big Italian wedding and his family is Spanish. They have a shared love for Europe, so much so that Ryan proposed to Maddie with a antique Givenchy ring during their trip to Paris. So when it came time to plan their wedding day, they both were immediately drawn to the ambiance of the private estate called Villa Terrace. The Tuscan-inspired architecture and gorgeous views of Lake Michigan created the perfect backdrop for their unique wedding day.
These two had so much fun infusing their personalities into their wedding day. Ryan and his groomsmen arrived to the wedding on their treasured motorcycles. Maddie’s something old included gorgeous heirloom jewelry from her grandparents. As a couple who loves to host, their guests were welcomed to the celebration with cocktails and live music. The bride’s brother was chosen as the perfect person to officiate their ceremony making their ceremony extra special. Afterwards guests were dismissed by a surprise wedding march with the brass band that escorted them around the grounds in a in a loud celebratory march. Deciding to forgo the formalities of traditional wedding receptions, Maddie and Ryan choose a casual al-fresco style reception that gave guests the opportunity to freely mingle throughout the estate and finish the evening by dining and dancing under the stars.
This was such a memorable wedding to be a part of! Congratulations Maddie and Ryan!!
